Firstly it is the premium taste. If you are a discerning chocolate lover you will love Gold42 chocolate. We have gone to great lengths to make it organic, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free. . . and with no added sugar, only low carb natural sweeteners monk fruit and stevia.

Is Gold42 chocolate suitable for people with lactose intolerance?

Yes. There are no dairy products in our chocolate.

Does your chocolate contain sugar?

It contains no added sugar, only low carb natural sweeteners monk fruit and stevia.

Does your chocolate contain nuts?

Our Tassie Hazelnut, Orange Almond and Strawberry Cashew Crunch chocolates contain nuts. Tart Cherry and Caramel Fig Crunch do not contain nuts. They are however made in a facility that handles nuts, so may contain traces of nuts. Please check the ingredients for each product which are listed in the product description on the Shop page.

Should I keep my chocolate in the refrigerator?

Chocolate is sensitive to heat. It should be stored below 18 degrees Centigrade. Keep in a rerigerator if you are unsure – the quality will not be affected.

What is the Best Before date on Gold42 chocolate?

If unopened and stored properly, the Best Before date is 12 months from date of manufacture.

Where does the cacao ingredient in your chocolate originate from?

The organic cacao is grown in Peru.

Is there any artificial or GMO content in Gold42 chocolate?

There are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in our chocolate, and no GMO content.

Is Gold42 chocolate made in Australia?

Yes, right here in the Huon Valley in Tasmania.

Refer to the Best By date which appears on all packaging.

What is your chocolate wrapper made of?

Cellophane – a thin, transparent sheet of regenerated cellulose made from wood, cotton, hemp or other sources – it is biodegradable.
